The youngsters began their camps at UCLA today, and proud papa and former USC star Keyshawn Johnson was there to watch his son, Keyshawn Jr., participate.

Key Sr. was just a beast in college and it’s hard not to respect his desire to go across the middle in the pros.

Best wishes to Key and best of luck to his son wherever he lands.

btw: Brian, what camp is it and does it mean Key Jr. has committed somewhere?

I heard about it and was going to ask you about Keyshawn.
But they are so young and so small when I looked in this afternoon. Would you send your kid to camp so young?

Its a kids camp and Key Jr. is 11 years old a little early for a commit.

I am committing to UCLA on behalf of my 3 year old. He’s really good. Height predictors have ending up around 6’6″ and he’s fast. I bet he’ll hit hard too, so I’m asking Neuheisel to offer him early.

Make sure Key Jr. isn’t a prop 48 kid like Sr.
