Receiver Shaq Evans had the first multi-touchdown game of his career on Saturday, reeling in two against Arizona. His first, a 66-yard bomb from Brett Hundley, came on UCLA’s very first offensive play.
Asked about his connection with Evans, Hundley talked about the comfort level the two have together.
“He’s a senior,” he said. “He knows what he’s doing. He’s very intelligent, sort of knows where I’m looking. … I try to preach to receivers, not just to know your specific route, but know the whole concept of the play.”
Hundley also talked a bit about the upcoming Washington package, as well as the jumbo “PAC” formation that features defensive players.
