UCLA’s comeback falls short against No. 1 Arizona

UCLA had a shot, but its thrilling comeback attempt fell just short against No. 1 Arizona in a 79-75 loss.

The Bruins played one of their most impressive games of the season against a deafening crowd at Pauley Pavilion, one that swung between UCLA cheers and “U of A!” chants, but couldn’t find the net in a 40-percent showing from the field — tied for their second-worst output this season.

The Wildcats sank 8-of-10 free throws in the final 1:03.
