VIDEO: Jerry Neuheisel prepares for another year at backup QB

After backing up Brett Hundley, UCLA quarterback Jerry Neuheisel will now do the same for true freshman Josh Rosen.

The redshirt junior, whom head coach Jim Mora showered with praise yesterday, said he’s approaching the role the same way he always has.

“As a player, you’ve got to respect it,” Neuheisel said. “You don’t have to agree with it, but you have to respect it. What the head coach wants, the head coach gets. It’s our job to make sure we go get him the ‘W’ every time.”

the kid NEVER could have cut it over at South Central…..He’s not ‘PIOUS’, he doesn’t jump off balcony’s, he’s not an academic casualty, and he’s not a thug…and most of all he’s not full of himself…
At some point this year, he’s gonna get his chance under center…and make all of us proud and remind us how lucky to have him around.

The kid’s daddy attended Law School at that school “over at South Central” on an NCAA postgraduate scholarship and Ricky was the last player to score a one-point conversion on a run in the NFL, before it got changed to two points

No, Jerry. YOU’RE Awesome. Go Bruins!

Jerry is a true Bruin and we’re lucky to have him. I hope he sees the field to some capacity as a QB this year, he deserves it.
    Go Bruins!

We will all be ready with the same chant we utilized in Dallas last season when the game was on the line: Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!

Do we have 80 guys? Most of them are just like Jerry, be fair to our team. We are made up of 2nd and 3rd and 4th stringers and at least 20 guys don’t even belong in the sport of football, though unlike Snoop Jr., they haven’t come to terms with that yet.

Go have a drink, Sandy. And take a few meds while you are at it.

I totally agree Jerry is one very speccoal person and only those who are either jealous or absolutely mean spirited would say differently.
