USC coach Pete Carroll and offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin said they were never more excited after a victory at USC.
“Im probably the most proud of this victory because of the staying power demonstrates,” Carroll said.
Kiffin said winning a fifth straight Pac-10 title made it more special, especially since it was supposed to be a rebuilding year.
“Ive never felt that excited, Kiffin added. “With all the injuries and people leaving early, we were underdogs to Cal before the season, you guys know that. Nobody has ever won five straight before.
“It was the most excited Ive been in the pressbox after a game since Ive been here.
