Anno Departs

USC assistant coach Sam Anno, who handled the kickers and long-snappers for the past three seasons, resigned to become an assistant coach at Central Connecticut State.
Anno, a former USC linebacker, will coach linebackers and special teams at Central Connecticut. The school’s head coach is former USC defensive line coach Jeff McInerny while former USC defensive lineman Ryan Nielsen is the defensive coordinator and former USC offensive lineman Jacob Rogers is the offensive line coach.
Anno’s departure leaves the Trojans with a void on the staff just two weeks before training camp.
