Although there was talk in February of Malcolm Smith playing some middle linebacker, he will play weakside. Chris Galippo and Luthur Brown are playing middle linebacker right now and recruit Jarvis Jones will add depth in the fall, which makes Smith’s move unlikely.
“I’m strictly at weakside right now,” Smith said. “That’s my spot.”
