A: Tim Floyd and Pete Carroll also gave/give the media their cell phone number. Floyd tended to return calls 2-3 days later when his mailbox was not full. Carroll is much prompter in returning calls. I only call when necessary, which means you might go a month without calling and then call three times in two days when something is going on. So it just depends on the situation.

A: I think Tyler is all-purpose. He has size and can break a run. He’s not Joe McKnight in the speed dept. but probably more like Stafon Johnson. I don’t think he was fully healed from his high school injury until near the end of the recent school year. So it will be interesting to see how he performs in fall camp now that he’s had a summer off from football and should be 100 percent physically.
