USC defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin and defensive line coach Ed Orgeron took the blame for the Oregon debacle. Who’s fault was Arizona, by the way?

Is there biggest fault not having Marqise Lee? He saves the offense and special teams from similar apologies.

+1 for the sardonic reference to Mr. Costanza.

Coach Orgeron has proven his ability in the past to be effective as a D-line coach. Monte Kiffin has not proven his game-plans work against spread offenses (which 9 of the 12 PAC-12 teams run), while making a reported 1.5 million each season. Even if coach O’s players were being driven off the line-of-scrimmage in a lot of plays, Oregon’s players were not able to prevent our linebackers & safeties from making tackles. Our LBs & S’s just couldn’t tackle the runner! This was mostly a scheme & tackling problem which coach O had little to do with. Next question…

Let me give Monte Kiffin a hint…
Watch the Cal-Oregon game and see how Cals defense plays against this offense. In the past 2-years, Oregon has not been able to run successfully against them.

I almost want to feel pity for Monte at the sight of this pathetic photo….almost, but not quite.
Moribund Monte needs to go now!

Monte Kiffen is beginning to look like the head vampire in Blade II.
