There are coaches that USC is interested in and does not mean the coaches would be interested: Pitt’s Jamie Dixon, Villanova’s Jay Wright, New Mexico’s Steve Alford, Gonzaga’s Mark Few and Butler’s Brad Stevens.
Few and Stephens are not expected to have any interest. Dixon is believed to be interested because of his Southern California ties.

I am not very optimistic that SC will be able to hire a big time, big name coach. Probably the biggest name coach SC has hired was Rick Majerus and he lasted a whopping 4 days. The question is will SC stick with Cantu or hire a retread like Ernie Kent.
I really doubt Mark Few will leave the top-ranked Zags to coach at a school that cares very little for any sport besides football…
