Kiffin Leans Toward Afternoon Practices

Lane Kiffin said he is leaning toward afternoon practices next season. The main reason is players were too tired from the morning routine and did poorer the past two fall semesters academically than in 2010, when USC practiced in the afternoon.

“They’re just really tired and worn out,” Kiffin said.

  1. Leave it Lane “The Great Mumbler/Edumacator” to figure out that Academic Casualties and S.C. football go hand in hand! Special Admits, and LOWER ADMISSION STANDARDS are the real culprits. They are the reasons for all those “Questionable Character” types. How many more do you lose before the season begins?
Everyone knows, torgans are PAID…making them professional “TYPES”….so……
You may as well play with a Professional Team like size roster!
    fit on torgans

  2. Another decision he made to help sabotage last year’s team’s abilty to succeed with “his” coaching mistakes. Is he going to make every bad decision possible before he realizes being too cute doesn’t work and go back to what worked in the past? Hasn’t he made enough mistakes already in learning?

  3. It only took 2 years to figure that out? If I remember right the players were not real happy about morning practice when they started but Kiffin didn’t hear them.

  4. “They’re just really tired and worn out,” ThaiSpic on the state of his holes #@ and mouth…

  5. yet swimmers wake up at 5 every morning and consistently lead the all-academic teams..
