Perhaps he sensed your note with some cynicism. I had thought Hawaii was the worst team I had ever seen, but then my Bruins played NMSU and I think Hawaii would kill them. It was a sloppy win but a win nevertheless.
You played them as a ‘gift’ to former asst. coach @ UCLA who then went on to become NM St. HC DeWayne Walker – he lost out to Neuheisel after Dorrell got shown the door. It was Guerrero’s way of throwing a bone to a great guy – he’s back in the pros and the poor scrums in Las Cruces have nothing to look forward to save getting wumped week after week.
