Pat Haden Says Coliseum Changes At Least A Year Away

In his monthly interview, USC athletic director Pat Haden said fans will be asked for feedback about what improvements they want and then money will be raised to implement the plans.

“We will have to raise those dollars and then start construction, so it will likely be at least another year before shovels are in the ground,” Haden said. “With that said, we will continue to make positive changes to the stadium for this upcoming season as we did last year, improving concessions, restrooms and overall cleanliness.”

The seat cushions were probably the highlight of the season last year (save for maybe the Stanford win).

Save the peristyle torch, blow the rest of the Coliseum up, build a state of the art stadium with luxury suites on both sides and we will be unbeatable and the NFL will come begging to play here.

Yeah, level everything but the peristyle end. Put in big screens like the one on the opposite end. Sick of the replays only being shown on that tiny screen.

Raise the money???? What a rip off. First Galen screw job, now Coli.

    • SaferInWestwood

What’s wrong with the Galen Center, I know the team the currently runs around in there is pretty pathetic but no worries li’l Andy is going to TurnUp, Ha!!

WARNING: Crotch kicks can lead to severe brain failure

SC got many of us boosters to pay $40k for seat lic with the promise of many other type events (we’d get our seats to sit in, of course paying for the tix-no big deal). We got ZIP. Only Men’s crappy BB. That’s it. RIP OFF.

        • SaferInWestwood

That does suck, next time get it in writing. ..

          • Joseph B. Lowe

It was. The only thing they stick by is you have to have an annual $3,500 membership in addition to the tickets or you’re OUT. But, I mean, who’s going to sue SC?

Cleanliness??? Yup that’s a nice place to start. That dump smells worse than El Segundo on a hot Summer day. Ahhh…there’s nothing quite like the smell of Wino Urine first thing in the morning!

Get some new material, you say the same thing over and over and over. Better yet, use the 9mm and give us all some relief.

…but will YOU ever have anything new to write? Your comments are boring, repetitive, and unimaginative. At least ThaiMex writes stuff that is entertaining to read.

        • TrojanFan3.0

Posting under one of your other misfits. beyond pathetic!

          PS…. your avatar is gay!

When will your sock puppet Wisdom3.0 be returning?

Shame on you for talking about your wife like that!

Put in individual urinals instead of the trough. Charlie Buckets is always ball gazing when I’m taking a wiz.

As I recall, USC is contractually required to spend $70 to $100 million in renovations to the Coliseum over the next several years. It won’t go very far. Don’t expect much change.

It’s putting lipstick on a pig. Start over and bring the stands in like at Notre Dame’s stdium so the sight lines are improved and everyone is closer to the field.
