On The Other Hand

USC’s pass defense is ranked No. 13 in the nation (96.2 yards) thanks to letting Boston College run at will.

  1. I would love to see one of the football players give you a good a** whipping. In fact, I would pay to see it

  2. (chortle)

they did pretty much run at will…..wolfman you’ve done it AGAIN!!!!

i am still waiting to hear if this was the greatest differential in rushing for two teams in one game (452 vs 20) the over 400 yd BU supremacy MUST be at least a Southern Cal record for being out-muscled, right??

    #MildBunchPart-III?

  3. The only thing that lies more than statistics is a politician.

Give me wins; you can have the statistics.

  4. Talk about a guy who got exposed quickly. Sark was a hero just days ago, and now he’s in the glorious ranks with the worst coaches in USC football history. Yes, I guess life does turn on a dime.

    • That’s why the SC coaches get paid the millions of dollars. If you can’t take the pressure of leading the best football program in the nation, don’t apply.

      • I think Alabama is actually the best football program in the country, based on total national championships and more recent championships.

        • More recent doesn’t and shouldn’t mean more important in terms of evaluating the tradition and history of a program.

          • SUCC’s FB program history and perceived tradition don’t, as a rule, win FB games – take for example, the Boston Massacre: BC rushed for 452 yards, and SUCC’s FB history and perceived tradition didn’t make one tackle. SUCC never does well in competition.

          • True; however, Alabama also has won more national championships (15 to 11) and bowl games (34 to 32), and has a higher overall winning percentage (.714 to .702). Alabama is also currently ranked higher than USC. In regards to tradition and history, one would have to be in denial to consider Alabama’s tradition and history to be inferior to that of USC: consider the fact that Bear Bryant is synonymous with college football and is widely considered the best college football coach of all time. I am definitely not a Tide fan, but those are the facts.

  5. So all the good runs are what caused 9/14 of Boston College’s passes to land harmlessly on the grass?
