Bad Bowl Of The Day

holiday-bowl-2016When I questioned Washington’s schedule a few weeks ago, some Husky fans brought up the victory over Washington State as a quality win. That would be the Cougars, who lost to Minnesota, 17-12, tonight in the Holiday Bowl.

I always have a soft spot for the Cougars because I love underdogs but let’s look at the Pac-12 for a second. Only six bowl-eligible teams and Washington State, which went 7-2 in the Pac-12 and played for the North Division title, lost to Minnesota, which went 5-4 in the Big Ten and finished fourth in its division. Any thoughts, Larry Scott?

      • Our Trojans, the Huskies, Colorado, the Trees and the Utes have coaching staffs light years ahead of the rest of the PAC-12, IMO. Go Utes, beat the Big 10 !!!

  1. Luke Falk and the Cougars looked pretty anemic against a mediocre Gopher team that were down a lot of guys due to suspensions and injuries. Should be a win for the Trojans next season.

  2. WSU will never be a real deal under Leach. He’s just not a winner. But they might transform into a power with a real coach like Petersen.

  3. A week ago the blogger says USC should fear Falk returning next year. Now they stink. Talk about having an opinion and sticking to it.

  4. Hey Larry Scott: The FBS Athletic DIrectors have just formed a Political Action Committee to ensure that they can stop Play for Pay, Concussion Lawsuits and anything else that will keep the Revenue Stream coming. The Chair of the Committee……who else but Notre Dame Princess AD Jack Swarbrick. Is the Pac 12 going to be well represented by this newly formed Mini-Mafia?

  5. I think WSU has an advantage during the season but once a team has a while to prepare for their air attack, well, you see what happens.

  6. Wolf, come on, man!! That was a low blow against Wazzu. I can see why you want to b-slap Larry S. But You b-slapped WSU too.

  7. They could not handle the pass rush and ground game was no where…big 10 too BIG….and not having a hot night to off set that , well WSU did not even get obvious replay calls
