When Dudes’ Brewing first cranked up its canning line last spring an off-site tasting room in one of the Beach Cities was mooted.

Nothing happened.

A year later, the dudes at Dudes’ announced a tasting room would open around Independence Day.

But the Fourth of July came and went without so much as a pour.

But Dudes’ Brewing will finally open a 13-handle tap room Sept. 12 that will include $3 pints of their excellent Session Pale Air and a new “never before sampled IPA,” which presumably won’t pack quite the punch of their Double Trunk DPA.

Even better, it’s right around the corner and down the street from Monkish Brewing and Smog City.
