The latest Backroom Beer Pairing at Barons Markets takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday (June 21).

The events literally take place in the markets’ back rooms — hence the name — and feature small bites paired with a variety of brews from a selected brewery.

Wednesday’s event will feature beers from San Diego’s Mike Hess Brewing.

Here’s a look at the pairings:

• 8 West Orange Honey Wheat paired with Green Goddess Spring Salad
• Grapefuit Solis paired with Curry Chicken Skewers
• Hoptuitus IPA paired with Burgers & Blue Cheese Sliders
• Umbrix paired with Barons Brownies a la Mode

Tickets ($15) have sold out at most locations, but are still available for the Wildomar and Point Loma stores.

A full 100% of ticket sales from the Temecula area stores will benefit the Temecula Food Pantry. Ticket sales from the San Diego area stores will benefit the San Diego Food Bank.
