Washington snaps Clippers’ nine-game winning streak with 104-96 victory

The Washington Wizards halted the Clippers’ nine-game winning streak by defeating Los Angeles 104-96 at Verizon Center on Friday night in Washington D.C.

The Clippers (16-6) were held to 42.7 percent shooting by the Wizards (16-6), who themselves shot 48.8 percent.

Chris Paul led the Clippers with 19 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Blake Griffin scored 14, but he had just two rebounds. Jamal Crawford contributed 12 points, but he shot just 2 of 13 from the field.

Bradley Beal led everyone with 29 points. John Wall had 10 points and 11 assists.
