Three food truck festivals on tap in the Inland Empire this weekend

Damien Food Truck Movie NightThree events featuring food trucks are scheduled here in the Inland Empire this weekend.

The Santiago High School Sharkfest is scheduled from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. today (August 14). Eleven food trucks — including our friends from My Delight Cupcakery and Where’s the Fire Gourmet Pizza — are scheduled to participate in this free event.

The school is at 1395 E. Foothill Parkway, Corona.

On Saturday (August 15), Grove Community Church, 19900 Grove Community Drive, Riverside, is hosting a free sing-along screening of “Frozen.” Eight food trucks are scheduled to serve at the event, which is set for 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Also on Saturday, Damien High School in La Verne is hosting a food truck/movie night, featuring a screening of “Back to the Future.”

Advance tickets ($8) are available here. Tickets at the door will be $12. Children six and younger will be admitted free of charge.

The school will be raffling off an Apple Watch, plus a GoPro camera, helmets and more.

Proceeds will benefit the Damien High School Mountain Biking and Road Biking Team.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. Damien High School is at 2280 Damien Avenue.
