Another honor for Redlands kicker

Senior kicker Kevin Grady collected yet another preseason All-America nod with a spot on the inaugural Cutting Edge Sports Management second team for offense.

Grady already has earned preseason All-America honors with Lindy’s, Beyond Sports Network, USA Football Network, and D3football.com, making this his fifth honor.

Grady is one of two players from the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference to receive recognition from CESM, the other being offensive lineman Andrew Pankow of Cal Lutheran.

Recipients also include three players from University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (Tex.), the Bulldogs first opponent of 2013.

During the 2012 campaign, Grady provided the fourth-best number of made field goals in all of NCAA Division III with 1.56 per contest while converting 77.8% of his attempts.

According to CESM’s release, all senior honorees with no remaining eligibility will be invited to the second annual Dream Bowl on Jan. 17-20 in Virginia Beach, Va.  This football all-star game includes some of the top players from NCAA Division III.
