Jeff Zatkoff stopped 34 of 35 shots, Bud Holloway, Denny Johnston and Jon Rheault scored goals, and the Reign (36-28-3-2) evened the three game series 1-1.

Marty Flichel scored during a 5-on-3 advantage to give the Steelheads (40-22-2-2) an early 1-0 lead, before the Reign defense clamped down and denied seven of Idaho’s eight power-play chances. The series concludes today, with the rubber match scheduled for 6:10 p.m.

Todd Jackson returned to the Reign after spending more than a month on injured reserve, and assisted on Holloway’s game-tying goal in the second period. Your official scoresheet is here.
