Ho Ho Ho! “Operation Red Light” nabs hookers

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department organized a sting operation, dubbed Operation Red Light, with other area law enforcement agencies to disrupt prostitution operations advertising on the internet Dec. 19, 2007.  L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies arrested and cited this prostitution suspect at the Monrovia Oak Tree Inn after calling the
Internet advertisement of Unlimited Escorts.

Reporter Jennifer McLain tagged along with the cops on the sting for two days. In all 37 arrests were made in area hotels, underground brothels and massage parlors. McLain’s story will run in Thursday’s paper.
