UCLA ran out a 19-point lead against Louisiana-Lafayette on Tuesday night, but allowed the Ragin’ Cajuns back within six points in the final two minutes before closing out an 89-80 win.

“We relaxed,” said head coach Steve Alford. “And then, all of a sudden, we’re throwing behind-the-back passes, we’re throwing no look passes, we shut down our defense.”
