After a long wait, former UCLA linebacker Myles Jack went to the Jacksonville Jaguars at 36th overall on Friday. The Jaguars traded up with the Baltimore Ravens to scoop up Jack.

Celebratory tweets from his teammates:

Ummm how many top 40 picks do the Trojans have? ZERO.

    • Laker Rod

Faker Laker. UCLA supposedly with more talent but still lost to USC this past season? Kind of sad. Must have been the dumb coaching that caused the loss. I mean who is stupid enough to go with a true frosh QB. Who lost that game against USC. Yup…true frosh Josh Rosen.

Is having a stalker flattering or annoying? Honest question.

        • Laker Rod

Imitation is the finest form of flattery.

The real kicker is this. I changed my profile image “Continually Playing True Freshman Is Evidence A Coach Cannot Coach” on purpose wondering what he would do. He showed his true colors.

The sad fact of the matter is this Faker Laker is probably a UCLA graduate. Now…what do you think about that.

          • NYC Bruin

I think there are 500K living UCLA grads, great grandpa (unfortunately not living, he was a great dude), grandpa, dad, brother and myself included. If even 1% are unhinged, that’s still 5,000, I can only control so much :).

          • 88 Straight

Well who is the real faker. The actual UCLA grad or the tool that lied about being a UCLA grad?

Happy you were flattered by someone. Probably a rare occurrence.

          • Laker Rod

LOL!!! Nothing left to talk about for the beaten fool 88Straight. Humiliated. Losing yet another debate to the non-UCLA grad. HA HA HA!

          • 88 Straight

It’s not about you not being a UCLA grad. It’s about you feeling the need to lie about being a UCLA grad. That’s what you fail to comprehend. It’s a question of character. You have answered it quite clearly and yet you still probably don’t understand.

            It’s a question of character

Did I miss your reply in our previous discussion?

          • 88 Straight

His behavior and his refusal to answer speaks volumes.

          • Laker Rod

The truth is that I’m just a little twerp with no life. I can’t stand that UCLA players are improving their lives. I am jealous of them all. I have to come on this blog and talk trash for therapy.

          • Laker Rod

LOL. Faker Laker sounds a little angry

  • Xtracrazy32

Crappy organizatian, due to lack of fans, but a beautiful town! Myles must be bittersweet.

  • Laker Rod

36th for Jack? Hey 88Straight…I guess there are 36 picks in the “1st round” per you. LOL!!! HA HA HA!!

    • NYC Bruin

You’re really taking a lot of pleasure in a kids misery.

      • Laker Rod

Nope. I take pleasure slaughtering you and 88Straight. LOL!!

And let this be a lesson for other UCLA players thinking of leaving early even when Coach Jim Mora advises against it and you’re coming off a knee injury and leaving as a true junior after only playing in 3 games and getting hurt in practice and being known as selfish and getting kicked out of practices and committing a lot of stupid penalties, etc. etc.

        • NYC Bruin

How’d that work for Marcus Lattimore?

          • Laker Rod

You care to elaborate on your point pertaining to Lattimore?

          • 88 Straight

I will do this s l o w l y. Take a look at what happened to Lattimore’s knee. Some had recommended he sit out his final year at South Carolina to not risk hurting his knee again which could cost him a lot of money. He played and cost himself a lot of money. There is risk in returning to school also.

You criticized Clark without knowing that his family needs the money. One injury at UCLA and that could all go up in smoke. But I’m sure you’d be right there to take up the slack.

          • Laker Rod

Marcus Lattimore played at South Carolina from 2010 thru 2012.

He was a true frosh in 2010 and ran for over 1,000 yards. He suffered a concussion that year.

In 2011, he rushed for a near 1,000 yards but tore a knee ligament which
ended his season. You’re try to tell me he was going to leave for the NFL after his true sophomore year and after already tearing a knee ligament?

You’re both trying to use him as an “example” as to how returning for his junior year in 2012 cost him millions? LOL!!!

Maybe you need to research more “slowly” old man. LOL!!

YOU LOST THE BET. YOU WERE WRONG. MAN UP

        • 88 Straight

Ish Adams committed a lot of stupid penalties, talks a ton of trash and assaulted an uber driver. Yet somehow he is your favorite player. How about a little consistency in your judgments?

          • Laker Rod

Changing the subject again. Ish isn’t my favorite player but it sure seems Ish is your least favorite. LOL!! Ish made you look like a FOOL again when he returned the interception 94 yards and saved the day against Colorado. No wonder you hate him. HATER.

YOU LOST THE BET. YOU WERE WRONG. MAN UP.

        • gotroy22

          Yes it was stupid.

How is Jack’s blowing out his knee “slaughtering” anyone?

          • Laker Rod

What are you talking about. Jack didn’t “blow out” his knee.

You care to go over this timeline?

Sep-15 – Jack gets injured in practice. We find out it’s a torn meniscus and nobody thinks it’s that big of a deal from an injury standpoint but Jack will miss the remainder of the season. We then find out he’s quit the team and quit school to go all out and rehab and prepare for the NFL combine.

Jan-15 – Jack himself says he’s healing well and will be ready for the NFL combine.

During all this time, I’ve been criticizing Jack for leaving early as he should have returned to school and even as Jim Mora put it….it’s risky for him to leave and be a 1st rounder. Of course the majority of the uneducated UCLA fan base argues against this and claims Jim Mora’s is just sore and trying to make him stay…these included fans like 88Straight and NYCBruin.

I even stated Jack is overrated and is not worth a 1st round pick. 88Straight and NYCBruin are quite vocal saying he will be a 1st rounder and even try to share that he’s a Top 5 pick. That’s what the reports were saying. It was all over the NFL draft board.

NYCBruin even wants to make a bet which he backed off on. He simply wanted it where if Jack was selected in the 1st round it was a done deal. He would win…I would lose.

Now..the fact that all the NFL supposed draft experts out there had him at No 5, I explained to NYCBruin that there are plenty of dumb teams out there. Look at who took Johnny Manziel.

So the funny thing was that NYCBruin and 88Straight seemed so confident in Jack’s ability and didn’t seem concerned about his knee as the other so called draft experts were not…but yet they were not willing to go out on a limb and say Jack would play like a 1st rounder if taken in the 1st round. They both chickened out and they know it.

In the meantime, we find out Jack isn’t fully ready by the NFL combine which he originally stated he would be back in Jan-16. He only performs the bench press and only does 19 reps which was good for 13th best for LB’s. NYCBruin and 88Straight don’t want to hear any of it. They just blindly believe in what the so called experts are telling them.

At UCLA’s Pro Day, Jack performs the vertical jump and horizontal jump. The vertical is good which of course NYCBruin and 88Straight brag about and there is no mention of his knee concern at this time. Jack didn’t do well in the horizontal jump either. He again skipped the 40 yard dash and didn’t even repeat the bench press. Jack claims he’s only 85% but will be ready by April 1 for his personal day and run the 40 yard dash.

April FOOLS day comes along and Jack declines to run the 40 yard dash. 88Straight doesn’t want to hear of any of it. He’s blindly believing Jack is a top pick.

NFL draft day arrives. After the 20th pick where Jack is still on the board, I claim victory already. Still…12 picks to go. I even told 88Straight, that Kenny Clark and his position of DT is a better pick over Myles Jack. Guess what…I was right. 88Straight tried to argue against this also.

With 4 picks left to go in the 1st round, I told 88Straight…get ready to eat CROW. 2 picks left…same thing. He knows all this is true.

Both 88Straight and NYCBruin know they got slaughtered. Even YOU know it. This whole board knows it.
