Wolfie, USC said that they are in the “process of granting” Noel Johnson’s release. Do you think they will drag their feet and try to talk him out of it? And, why would USC grant his release? Typically doesn’t USC, and all universities only grant releases for extraordinary circumstances? We have invested a lot in Noel’s recruitment, he knew about the NCAA investigation, and it is very late in the game after the spring signing period. I presume you can address this with one answer. Why would USC grant his quick release, which is based on implausible Internet rumors and seems to go against USC’s M.O.?

A: I’m not speaking specifically about Noel Johnson but whenever an athlete is released from their letter so quickly, the assumption among college coaches is that maybe something occurred that was not above board during the recruitment process that would lead to possible NCAA problems if it ever became public.

Wouldn’t the perfect venue for all the Fight Club scenarios be a place that is accustomed to fights on a daily basis such as, oh I don’t know, an Irish bar?

So will Nadine’s Irish Mist be the site for all the fight combinations we all want to see?

A: Good idea, but I’d rather go there to meet Nadine or perhaps some other member of Girls Aloud.
