Morning Buzz

The USC-Stanford game is probably the most entertaining in the Pac-12 in recent years but Trojan players are placing no more importance on it this week. Link here.

(PS, reminder the Emergency Cadre Meeting is at 11AM)

  7. Wow, that’s pretty harsh. I doubt Scott is going to be terribly sympathetic to any future bullshit by the athletic department or the coaching staff.

  10. disturbing this is, hmmmm?

banning a member of the press, they have?

strong, the Dark Side is in this affair, i sense.

wrong it is, to ban the wolfman.

much fear of wolfman, i sense in trojans.

the leitmotif for Bounce Pass should be Vader’s March.

    herh, herh, herh.

may The Force be with you, wolfman.

  11. Scott
I’m sure you will hang out in West Hollywood during your time off.
Make sure to enjoy your appletinis and massages from Fritz

  12. Pretty good stuff from Count and Yoda today. This “banning gate” is turning out to be a blessing in disguise…

If ya’ll see a reporter wearing a curly Blonde wig and a Manchester U kit, ya’ll call the cadre okay?!

  13. The “no reporting on injuries” rule, and its interpretation to cover medical procedures that will sideline players, is ripe for a scandal. This is valuable information when bottled up. There’s the whole shady angle of people who view college football as a bet. And fans really do care about the players. Transparency is best here.

If anything, all the regular reporters should note, at least occasionally, that USC policy does not let them report on strategy or injuries. I’m not sure I’ve seen such a disclaimer from any of them, and I think it’s the kind of thing I’d notice.

  14. Don’t you guys see it? SC has been looking for a way to get rid of SW for YEARS. And Scotty was STUPID enough to fall into the trap! Bravo SC Athletic Dept.

    I LOVE THE CAPPER

  15. Numerous media outlets have reported the injury disclaimer, it’s old news

reporting injuries is a voluntary thing, contact your Congressman if you have an issue with it….LOL!

Hiding injuries in the NFL is a common thing, there must be an advantage in doing so

Kif might be playing the mind game better than others
