USC Morning Buzz

USC committed 11 penalties against Notre Dame and seven were by the offensive line. Max Tuerk and Aundrey Walker each had two holding penalties. Chad Wheeler had two false starts and Kevin Graf had one false start.

Tight end Jalen Cope-Fitzpatrick also had a false start. With two line coaches, USC should not be in this situation. And every player except Wheeler started games last season so the crowd should not be such a big factor either.

“I don’t know why we had so many penalties,” Walker said. “We’ve just got to get better.”

  1. I wonder how many of those holding calls could have been non-calls if the referees were indeed fair and without “the other” intentions. Many of the calls against USC after the starting QB of ND got knocked out of the game looked really fishy, to say the least.

    • realcrybaby: I watched the game with a trOXan, and EVERY holding call was shown clearly on slow-mo. You all saw it too, so quit whining!!!!!!

you wanna talk fix, talk to Crazy Legs Hadari!!

    • That’s right, the Pac 12 refs conspired against the Pac 12 team. Will you rah rahs ever admit Kiffin ran the program into the ground and stop making excuses?

      • The rot of Goat Kiffin will linger for quite some time. What a poorly coached mess , that game was an embarrassment. Jr high team have better fundementals than USC. As for Lee , get lost. Kiffin turned him into a prima donna

      • PAC 12 refs call more penalties than the refs in any other conference. We have the worst refs in the country. Incompetent.

      • Oh, so just because the refs were from Pac 12 they weren’t going to try real hard to let ND win? lmao. The sports world needs more of the likes of you to keep on thriving.

  2. Just to be clear, i want to point out that the Pious Passer threw those 3 INT’s in THREE CONSECUTIVE possesions. It was NOT over a whole game or anything!!!

and did i mention the reveivers were jawing at him right on the field???

    • What? …..A new man crush!

You’re a fucing demented idiot and we all laugh at your pathetic a$$.

Why you continue to obsess over his blog is beyond creeeeepy!

Let me help you pull the trigger

    • Mancrush! The opposite of love is not hate, it’s indifference. Chuckles has the biggest mancrush I’ve ever seen on Barkley. I really hope you find the strength to take down the Barkley poster from your wall and replace it with your next crush, The band One Direction. Sorry Chuckles, he’s just not that into you.

  3. I guess I am as sick as the SUCLA bloggers because I got such a kick out of Stanford beating up SUCLA, and I cannot stand Stanford.

    • We had a chance to tie with 3 mins left, AT Furd. And as far as getting beat up, several Trees were unfortunately carried off the field.

Don’t worry Gramps, your boys will have their chance against Furd and if Southern Cal wins I’ll leave this site forever!!!

          • USC, where we hope UCLA loses so we don’t look so bad anymore! And as of now, it’s loss, not losses. So go ahead and pick – which loss was SC’s best?

          • Man, just imagine what Oregon is going to do to you imposters. Gameday will be there to show the ENTIRE nation just how overrated the bRuins are.

          • but man, imagine what Wazzu will do to SC… er, wait, that actually happened. Yes, UCLA will lose to Oregon and the team will be 5-2. Who does SC actually beat down the stretch? Maybe Cal and Colorado? Certainly not Stanford, OSt or UCLA. LOL.

          • Yeah, we know the season is lost. Hence, the reason our head coach was fired! On the other hand, fucla is supposed to be a “bcs team” with a heisman candidate at QB. Neither of those things are true, and they were exposed vs StanFURD. fucla will end the season with 4+ losses.

          • you’re confusing media hype with thoughts of bruin fans. Most thought 9-3 would be a good year given the schedule. Still quite possible. Some would say probable with patsies like Colorado and SC remaining.

        • i’m just sayin’ we didn’t get beat bad. NOBS is the one going around saying he doesn’t care if Southern Cal loses, so long as Bruins win!!

and he’s the de facto leader of the Dummies!!!

      • Quit making excuses, you piece of shlt! You got manhandled, embrace it. The dementia is fucing up your perception

Try hooking a hose up to your mom’s exhaust pipe and take a permanent nap

      • I think the key difference in fan bases is that USC fans gate every loss, whereas UCLA fans enjoy moral victories.

        Enjoy those close losses!

        • Yes, it’s the bruin fans on here saying how they don’t even care about losing because they all knew the season was a wash after a squeaker with Hawaii. Er, wait…

          • No its the bruins fans on here (plus you, who is more of a troll than a Bruin fan) who are trying to argue that UCLA’s loss was somehow better than USC’s because you played Stanford close. In short, you are trying to make a “moral victory” argument by stating that your losses aren’t as bad. USC fans consider every loss as bad. We just hold the team to a higher standard.

      • Oh please. fucla FB sucks. As I posted on another topic, answer the questions:

        1. What’s your last NC?
        2. Last Rose Bowl appearance?
        3. Last Rose Bowl victory?
        4. Last time time ranked #1?

        5. How long did it last?

You and fucla FB are a joke. Keep on Blah Blah’in

      • I love this. “We had a chance with 3 mins left.” You had a FAT CHANCE before the game even started, Stanford mauled the Little Gutties and wreaked havoc on Hundley. Don’t worry Bucket Boy, you’ll get to re-live this beat down on Saturday. And guess what. You have ZERO CHANCE, as usual.

  4. Dear Mr. Walker:

You are getting penalties because you and your teammates are not very good.

Your RT, Mr. Graf, has T-Rex arms and therefore allows quicker players to get inside leverage. So sometimes he has to grab them in order to keep them from killing your undersized, weak-armed QB. This is a problem.

You yourself look the part but don’t play it. You make one great play then you take the next two off. And you seem to have poor vision and you get confused easily, not knowing who to block.

The guy you replaced at RG was blown up by Will Sutton on the very first play of a game. He is a favorite of message board coaches and opposing linemen everywhere.

Your center looks OK, but he is still learning to handle assignments.

Your LG has trouble keeping on weight. Since your former HC was big on his guards pulling, some weight has been left off in order to keep up his foot speed, and he gets manhandled from time to time, forcing him to grab onto to bigger and stronger players. Hence the holding call near the end of the fourth quarter that negated a first down run by Mr. Redd.

Two years ago, your LT was a 230 lbs high school senior. He might be decent next year or the year after that, but he was rushed into this position because you failed at it.

And to add to all the physical deficiencies, you have been overcoached by an insecure con-man and are currently coached by someone who was fired from the weakest SEC program, so you, and your fellow o-line teammates, think too much, play slow, and exhibit poor technique.

The other guy hired to coach you was on the payroll to keep the former head coach from getting beat up by other coaches.

Next year there will be a new Head Coach who has no emotional ties to you or your teammates. He did not recruit you, he isn’t trying to prove the he is the greatest recruiter in the world, so he will bench you if he feels that someone else is better. You will play if no one else is better, but if that is ture, get used to losing a lot next year as well.

My advice is to study hard and stay in school because it doesn’t look like a lucrative NFL career is for you or your teammates’ future.

    • I could not have said it any better, this obvious problem should have been addressed a few years ago. I always thought John Martinez and Kevin Graft were the weak links on the offensive line and I’m not even a Coach…LOL !!

  5. “USC’s committed 11 penalties against Notre Dame”

Looks like SUC’s wrote this and used his signiture unnecessary apostrophe.

  6. Those second half penalties were drive killers. The O-Line is still clueless when it comes to blitz assignment. Lee dropped a touchdown & Fitzpatrick dropped what would’ve been a huge first down. SC beat themselves in South Bend.

  7. i am putting in nomination to the Cadre Executive Council, Andre “Crazy Legs” Hadari of Southern Cal for the inaugural Cadre Crotch Kicker of the Year Award!!!

he couldn’t hit water if he kicked the ball out of a boat, but he sure has landed some killer crotch kicks to Southern Cal!!!!!

    HAWR-HAAAAAWR!!!!!!

  8. Hello, it’s me, 2006. I need you trojans to forget about me because I’m the past. History. Gone. Done. Nothing anymore. You really need to get with my friend 2013. Now, I know he’s not being nice to you, but trust me, he’s far nicer than his brothers 2014 and 2015.

    • Hello, it’s me, 1953, the last time the Little Gutties won a national championship (split actually) in football and before your coach died in the arms of a prostitute. That’s true, if you can actually believe it. 2013 is already over for UCLA, I know. So give a call to 2014. Maybe you can finally win a conference title, but I doubt it since “underachieving” is your life long motto.

      • 1954 actually and we know Red Sanders died “in the hole” so to speak. So what. At least he went out happy, didn’t slice up two people and lead half of the CHP on a wild chase. Seems like Jack B and Joe Blow might be the same person. Truth or fiction?

        • Weren’t you the plebe who was bragging about staying on topic? Oh, and thanks for biting. I knew ProbyU would point out the season was actually 1954 – almost 60 years ago!!! Since that’s your only year, it’s impossible to forget. Such a predicable, underachieving Little Gutty troll. Thanks for re-emphasizing Little Gutty ineptness. So cool.

          • Red was over tired from kicking the Trojans a$$ on a regular basis. 1954 was also when $C made the Final 4 in basketball. Red is a degenerate in your eyes but $C still celebrates OJ and had him address the team before the Orange Bowl and Ed O just had Ray Lewis, another alleged murderer out to speak to the team last week. Kill on!

          • You’re not too sharp today. Suddenly, it’s all about history for ProbyU. About-Face! The present is still pretty bad for you as you are heading back down, down again. Can’t seem to gain any respect, as usual. As far as O.J. goes, nobody I know from USC celebrates Killer O.J. Although there are weird Little Gutties who think Darryl (“Let’s kill the judge.”) Henley was framed. Actually Bruins do their best killing right on the Westwood campus. Lawsuit city. I’m sure you know what I mean.

          • Ray Lewis was hardly the past. A couple of days ago. Weird how you celebrate murderers. It’s been awhile, but I remember seeing the Trojan tribute to all it’s athletes on the cover of Sports Illustrated and they listed the cover with OJ on it in June 1994 just after the murders. Now that’s worth remembering.

Probably a tough week ahead for us. After all, Oregon is better than Wash St. and ND. Get ready for 20 more years of what you had in the 80’s and 90’s. That is what awaits you.

          • You really are stupid ProbyU. Lewis never killed anyone. Just rolled over on those who did – like anyone would. Poor Little Gutty. Your week is gonna be so tough. You’re just lucky last year’s schedule was so easy, when you still lost five games. Now, you’ve got a chance to finally beat us twice in a row. Wow. You can do it. What awaits the Little Gutties? An ass-kicking on GameDay. Oh yeah!

          • Ray rolled over to avoid prosecution. Like the Juice, he hired good lawyers. $C has a lot in common with the U. You should be proud of that. Also, proud of still losing to ND after they had no QB. Pathetic. Like the upcoming 20 years. You’d better hope we get an NFL team in LA or you will have nothing to live for. We know you don’t care about not having a BB team.

          • You are the moron that said he didn’t kill anyone. That is why he rolled over. But hey, you chose to go to a 2nd rate school in South Central that has so many rapes on campus they forgot to report them all. What would you possibly know?

          • WRONG. So, the prosecution just let a murderer go to get the goods on too other dudes – both of whom were acquitted? Lewis was never a participant in the fight, idiot. He pled to lying to the cops. His testimony actually helped the defendants. You should change your nickname to Mr. Stoooooopid

          • We know what he pled to. The question is what he did in the club and many feel he got away with participating in a murder. They couldn’t make the case, so they offered a deal. Doesn’t mean he was innocent. Coming from the school of the term allegedly, I would assume you knew that. Lewis hired a good lawyer, just like Rey Maualuga and Mark Sanchez. Poor Matt Leinart couldn’t find a way to avoid child support. But like a real Trojan, he never gave up trying to avoid it until he got sued. Cheat on!

          • Since you want to play lawyer, the state couldn’t even prove Lewis was at the scene. All they had on him, literally, was that he was waiting in a car after the fight and told the actual participants to keep quiet about everything – obstruction. Any lawyer in America could have gotten him off. Yet you know he’s a murderer. Typical Little Gutty creep who thinks he’s all-knowledgeable and morally superior. You’re a disgusting, stupid weakling. Typical Little Gutty fan.

          • Just morally superior to you, Jack B or Joe Blow or whomever you are. And those quality Trojans, Maualuga, Sanchez, Leinart, Cushing, Mark McGwire, the Ting Brothers et al.

          • Hope you enjoy the next 20 years of football mediocrity like the 80’s and 90’s. It’s where you boys are headed. And Jack B…if you aren’t one concerned about morality, then why the harsh judgment of Red Sanders with the hooker? Is it worse to hire a hooker than kill two people? Beat somebody up in a bar to near death like Maualuga? Whip out your johnson in a nearby campus bar an put it into a girls hand like Sanchez? What about get a girl pregnant and abandon her and not pay child support like Leinart? Or supply steroids to Cushing and all like the Tings? And none of this would have come to much attention had Reggie Bush just paid that guy off. What a bright Trojan! Yep, you guys are a great example of all things Trojan.

          • Snore through what you can’t defend. Pete’s era of cheating and scandal are over. Enjoy the remnants.

          • You’re a pathetic troll weirdo. Why defend? I couldn’t care less what you think about USC. Thank God UCLA (Pete’s eternal bitch) is your home, even though you like to live here every day with us Trojans.

          • Great post. All those guys beat the living crap out of you weaklings year after year. And now you’re trolling on our board, like the wimp you are. Lonely little Bruin. Stoooopid, but morally upright. Why don’t you go find some rabbits to tend?

      • I guess you’re not listening to 2013. He’s really trying to pull you out of the past but we all understand why you want to stay there. SC used to be good. Query whether a great run from SC has ever ended with something other than NCAA sanctions?

  9. I don’t think there is a need to pile it on the players. We know some players aren’t as good as advertised and have stunk it up…I think the real problem is that there doesn’t seem to be real competition going on because these guys can’t be the best guys that SC can presently put on the field. I don’t believe it. (Put in Falah, Simmons, anyone)
