Ricky Town Commits To USC

The day comes full circle as Ricky Town completed his decommitment from Alabama by committing to USC. As I said earlier today, Town was considered the best-performing quarterback at last summer’s Rising Stars camp, ahead of Josh Rosen and David Sills.

Rosen could be headed to UCLA while Sills will now need to reevaluate. As will USC.

  1. Sarkiffen has plenty of time to blow this commitment! A 3-9 season could also have an influence!

    • One of you donkeys were on here Tooting your horn on THREE Star Wouldard doing the same drills….envy is Jealousy ….Keep throwing up your “v” With your USC jersey on bum!!!!

      Sorry… once Stanford offers Rosen…. He’s gone !!!!

      • So what? The 2015 class won’t happen until 2/2015. Plenty of time for things to change.

      • They said he hasn’t taken the SAT yet and the Indians won’t offer him until then. Could be another Carson Palmer situation. There is an interesting article out about how Harbaugh had to do battle with Indian administrators to loosen up the admission standards to reve the moribund Indians football program. Maybe they tightened things back up now that he is gone?

        • Marv you’re a decent person, but Stanford has been the “Cardinal” for some years, in deference to Indian tribes that objected to the “Indians” nickname.

    • It will be interesting to see how St Bonaventure does against Westlake and Oaks Christian this year.SC fans should drive up to Ventura on Fridays and pack the stands!

  2. Goat Boy…..I miss him already!
Unfortunately….The more things change, the more they remain the same. A few years ago, it was Goat Boy who loaded up on Wide outs while ignoring the fact the game is won or lost in the trenches. The only difference now is Sarkiffin is loading up on Q.B’s…
On second thought…you might need all those Q.B’s once they start getting knocked out because your O-Line $uck$ (remember Barfy!)
    fit Un!

    • Yes, our O-line was a weakpoint, but it looks like Sarkisian is addressing it. We’ve got 4 solid O-line commits along with a great TE commit. Kiffin’s problem was that he was too concerned with individuals’ stats and awards. He had a rude awakening last season when he realized that he didn’t have a 4 year starter at qb and had to resort to the run, which he did not build the team for. I have confidence that Sarkisian will build a solid run game which will make things much easier for our plethora of highly rated QB’s, whomever should win the starting job.

      • If you look at what he did at UW with Sankey we should develop a solid run first attack as is our tradition.

      • Your source was right on point with J. Wadood, ha! “I have sources, they have nothing to do with foosball but they are telling me Wadood is a Trogan flip”, wanna get away… .

        • You’re just scared that everything i post on recruiting is coming true…. lmfao!!! Again ….I never said JW was coming to SC…but I get your paranoia/ obsession !!!

          • It was great when you went missing for a week after your failed attempt to have any kind of insider info… .the funny part was you thought you had some actual info, now you can go ahead and lmfao, joke!

    • ThaiHex – yeah, like we remember Cade mcnown and all the other UGLY glorious alumni.

  3. I hear a new reality show is in the works it’s called “the real biggest losers” and it’s about UCLA trolls who spend more time on USC boards than UGLY boards.

  4. Let’s give it up for Sark. On measurables, he hasn’t coached any games for us, but he’s landed a 5-star QB. I’ll say he’s on track.
