Mike Williams Wants To Be USC Football Coach

MIKE.WILLIAMSFormer USC star receiver Mike Williams is the football coach of the middle school team at Brentwood school and tells TMZ he wants to be the first African-American football coach at USC. He might have to compete with LenDale White for the job. Remember White said, “I’m going to coach my Trojans one day.”

  1. Great…. so we will not only have hired a high school coach, but potentially a football coach from a Brentwood middle school team, as well…wait a second…..That middle school team wouldn’t happen to be called UCLA, would it?

  2. Weren’t Todd McNair, Ken Norton Jr., as well as current coaches Tee Martin and Chris Wilson, African-American, Scott?…..or did you mean to type HEAD football coach at USC, instead?……..

    • No excuse for us not having an African American head football coach after the last two lousy hires.

      • Hey, I completely agree with you…. I wasn’t making excuses, but rather bringing Scott’s poorly worded post to light, as yet another shining example of his continued incompetence…..

  3. As I’ve always said, they let Blacks play ball at Southern Cal, but speak your mind like Lendale, and they have you thrown out of the Mausoleum!!

Bob Case was DEAD ON right about the current regime!!

  4. Actually this is news from a couple days ago from an article at another USC football web site that interviewed Mike – yeah journalists interviewing people, what a concept!

Adding Mike Williams as receivers coach would be cool.

LenDale White will coach at USC when Scottie flies. LenDale has admitted he never worked hard to improve and that’s the last message we want to teach our players.

    • So what would you suggest we do with Tee Martin? Maybe Mike should coach some HS or Div. 2 first.

      • I give Tee Martin 1-2 more years before he receives an offer he can’t refuse. Mike could start out as an graduate assistant to start and prove himself.

    • The Rachel Maddow of Inside USC shows no loyalty to a member of the 2003 NC champion Trojans.

  5. This is one of the problems of hiring a loser like sark…… just about anybody could see themselves doing a better job…. and they are probably not wrong

  6. Go lead a Mountain West School to a championship first, then talk about USC. And that’s always been SC’s problem, they never hire a coach that has a championship on his resume, it’s either a Pete Carroll “Clown Disciple” or some unproven guy, like Paul Hackett.
