Hall Of Fame Will Allow Junior Seau’s Daughter To Speak

SEAUThe Pro Football Hall of Fame will allow Sydney Seau, the daughter of Junior Seau, to speak at next weekend’s induction ceremony, according to Fox Sports. This comes after a controversy ensued when it was reported Seau’s family would not be allowed to speak when he is inducted into the Hall of Fame.

  1. The only controversy I believe is that he is the first Hall of Famer to commit suicide, at least before his induction. The HOF had stopped having deceased inductees have a speaker. Hope it gives the family some comfort and she can pull it off, not sure I could do if it was me. Should be a tear jerker. RIP 55.

    • I believe Sydney is showing a huge amount of courage.. The internal fortitude for this young lady, before HOF and those watching is huge..God Bless her and family. I appreciate the move to allow her to speak.
Moved by the thought even now. As you say, rest in peace Junior. #55

  2. Me and my comrades, Mr. Empty Ted and Mr. Bottle watch Mr. Seau family speak. We are all friends and love USC. Agree friends? I like my friends and celebrate USC with them. Mr. Seau and family are good people. Mr. Empty Ted and Mr. Bottle are my good friends.

  3. So many things happen to every person in a day that very few instances stand out.

So If a speech makes the Seau family happy, so be it, but it will have little or no lasting effect on even the people who witness the speech.

Junior’s memory, however, will live on in Trojan hearts, which is where it truly belongs

  4. Apparently, she won’t be giving a speech, but rather she will be interviewed after Juniors bust is unveiled. …so yes, she will be able to speak. ..
