When JuJu Smith-Schuster got an unsporsmanlike conduct penalty for taunting against Arizona, it make me think back to the reaction Steve Sarkisian had last season when Isaiah Langley had an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Here was Clay Helton’s reaction to Smith-Schuster:
“Coach Helton pulled me out and said I was a better person than that,” Smith-Schuster said. “He’s right.”
What really pissed Sark off in his last game as coach was when Langley said ” Shut up and have another drink”
Wasn’t he drunk that entire week? I mean, the offensive game plan was identical to the one used at ASU. Even the UW players were surprised. And weren’t there reports about odd behavior at the ASU game and the entire week leading up to the UW game?
And wasn’t Sark “suspended” that Sunday after players tweeted that he showed but drunk to a meeting.
But Clay Russell’s response was to blame SW.

Steve Sarkisian is a Drunk, and he was under the influence of alcohol in all of the games he coached at USC. His eyes were blood shot, and watery during every television interview I saw him in.
Yet the rah rahs like the Dr. Rachel Maddow of Inside USC supported Pat Haden hiring him over Chris Petersen.

That’s because most fan’s don’t use the eye test, or common sense, they rather go with media hype.
Sark was drunk during the games, noted by many players and staff..As the HC he would have been responsible had any of the kids had gotten badly hurt while playing, which also puts USC in a legal pickle.
Yet Clay Russell blamed SW when Sark was canned for his disgraceful behavior.

“The author has too much class to name the writer who is delighting in Sark’s problems, but I’m not encumbered by such things. I’m pretty sure the writer the author of this article is referring to is S W of the LA Daily News. This guy is a USC alum and he goes out of his way to disparage the program every chance he gets.
Unfortunately he gets a lot of opportunities to do that, but he goes over and above the call of duty. The author is right to imply that W is enjoying all this because he is.
It’s amazing to me that S W continues to be employed as a USC beat writer. For some reason the guy has an outright hatred of the Football program and perhaps the school itself and he writes stories accordingly.

If USC has a strong running game, then the difference between the two quarterbacks should not make a difference, because according to Clay Helton, they have been running neck to neck since training camp stated. So in situations like that, I would start the elder, but this is where coaching gets tricky, because you can’t please everybody.

Heard an interesting rumor from a friend who’s grandson plays at Redlands East Valley. He said he’s hearing that if Mora or Demetrius Martin are let go that both 5⭐ recruits Darnay Holmes AND Jaelan Phillips will both decommit. The Bruins think they are untouchable with Phillips because his parents were both RUINS. Mora is trending down. UCLA has nothing without Rosen.
I should be clear that Holmes is a Bruin “lean”, but basically a soft verbal.
I believe that.. The kids at USC will sell them on the future at USC .. We cpuld pick up 2-3 players if the choose to stay local.
Phillips said he would never step foot on USC’S Campus, but his friends got him to visit a few weeks ago. Now he will visit again for the Oregon game and then he’ll see SC beat the Bruins at the Rose Bowl. If Martin and/or Mora move on then they will probably look at their options. Either way the Bruins are in trouble. SC has continued to get better with Darnold and even High School kids can see that.
