Fox Sports is taking over the Holiday Bowl from ESPN. This generally means an inferior broadcast from a production standpoint, in my opinion. If Joel Klatt is doing the game that would be a plus. But after going to two Holiday Bowls, let’s hope USC never goes to one again.
Well hopefully it will be telecast for a national audience and as to the broadcasting anything is an improvement over Jesse Palmer. The guy’s a clown when he isn’t gigging ‘The Bachelor’
Fox treats college football like pro football in that there are cutaway galore’s, incredible number of commercials and shameless promos of other Fox programs. It all cuts into the flow of the game. Of course Fox will deny it….
