Crescenta Valley took the honors of ending that reign Friday night. Brian Gadsby threw for 324 yards and scored on a 1-yard run with just over a minute to play to lead the Falcons to a 41-36 victory over La Serna in the semifinals at Glendale High School. Crescenta Valley, also getting 93 yards and two touchdowns from Jonathan Jun, improved to 13-0 and advanced to face Downey, which beat Salesian, here next Friday for the title. Enrique Pacheco threw for 158 yards and three touchdowns for La Serna, which finished 10-3.
