Montclair Burgerim to celebrate grand opening with free burgers on Wednesday

burgerimEven though they’ve got about 200 locations in 15 countries, you’ve probably never heard of Burgerim.

That’s because they’ve only got two locations in the U.S., and one of them just opened in Montclair.

The Israeli-born chain (Burgerim is Hebrew for “many burgers,” I’m told) is beginning its expansion into the United States, with 10 locations planned through the end of the year.

A second Inland Empire location — at the Victor Valley Mall — is currently under construction and should open within a month.

Burgerim focuses on custom mini burgers, with 11 different patty options — everything from the typical beef, turkey and veggie patties to chorizo, wagyu beef, salmon and merguez, a spicy North African sausage.

Prices are reasonable, with a pair of mini burgers, fries and a fountain drink costing less than $10.

The restaurant also offers chicken wings and strips and a selection of salads, wraps and sandwiches if you’re not really in a burger mood. The full menu is here.

The location, 9359 Central Ave., Suite C, is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.

The restaurant offers dine-in, take-out and delivery service within three miles.

The grand opening will take place beginning at 11 a.m. on Wednesday (September 21). Guests will receive a free duo combo — two mini burgers, fries and a fountain drink — while supplies last.
