Pine Haven Cafe is doing something rare on Friday (March 24).

It’s opening for dinner.

The Upland restaurant — usually only open for breakfast and lunch six days a week — is hosting a special dinner from 5 to 9 that evening.

Appetizers include seared ahi tuna, smoked pork belly and fried calimari.

Entrées include pan-seared salmon, dry-rubbed barbecue chicken, New York strip loin and stuffed Portobello mushroom Wellington. All entrées come with soup or salad, plus a vegetable and a starch.

Dessert choices include crème brûlée, apple pie taco and triple chocolate cake.
