The last remaining San Bernardino Taco Tia, at 2535 Del Rosa Ave., closed earlier this year.
A banner has gone up at the former location indicating that The Flame Broiler will be taking its place.
The Taco Tia chain is significant in that it was the first Mexican food chain co-founded by Glen Bell, who of course later went on to become the founder of Taco Bell.
At one time, the chain had several locations, including two on Base Line in San Bernardino.
One Taco Tia restaurant remains, at 1004 Orange St. in Redlands.
