Ironbark Ciderworks celebrating grand opening tomorrow night

We know that the Inland Empire has many breweries and wineries, but what about hard cider?

Well, there are a couple of places in Oak Glen, including Snow-Line Orchard and the Oak Glen Cider Company, that ferment and bottle hard cider.

And now, a new dedicated cidery — Ironbark Ciderworks — has opened in Claremont.

The craft cider maker opened earlier this month, but is hosting an official grand opening from 5 p.m. to midnight tomorrow night (December 1).

Ironbark’s ciders are made without sulfites, preservatives or sugars, and are fermented dry, so they’re not cloyingly sweet, as many commercially-available ciders can be.

Its tasting room has a comfortable, 60s-inspired vibe.

Ironbark is at 1420 N. Claremont Blvd., Suite 107B (it shares its parking lot with Claremont Craft Ales). Hours are 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday, 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 5 to 11 p.m. Friday, and 1 to 11 p.m. Saturday.
