Picking the week 5 winners . . .

I went 22-2 in picks last week to take my season total to 96-28, then went 5-0 i games last night. So getting better, now 101-28.

There aren’t a lot of games this week as most are getting ready for league play next week . . .

Colony 27, Riverside Poly 21 – Alright faith in the Titans. Josh Thompson & Company don’t fail me now.

Carter 21, Yucaipa 14 – We”ll see if the Lions have recovered from getting pummeled by REV last week. I think Alex Pierce will rally the troops.

Miller 24, Eisenhower 17 – Both these programs are struggling mightily so it should be a competitive game and could go either way. Flipped a coin.

Damien 24, Ayala 14 – Going with Damien because it has looked slightly better than Ayala and Ayala is a team a still can’t figure out. The Bulldogs have talent but something isn’t right.

Chino 32, Rowland 10 – The Cowboys have to avoid the proverbial letdown after an emotionally draining game last week. I think they’ll be OK though.

Sierra Vista 28, Garey 14 – Sierra is 2-2 and Garey is winless so have to go with the team that has won games.

Ganesha 42, Western Christian 7 – The Giants are improved and Western Christian has a lot of issues. No question here.

Montclair 27, Wilson 14 – The Cavaliers have looked improved too. I’ll take them at home this week.

Silverado 21, Los Osos 17 – This could be a  pretty good game and the Grizzlies have been impressive the last two weeks. But I’ll go with the Hawks at home.

Pomona 24, Santa Monica 10 – This is a game the Red Devils somehow lost last year. I don’t see that happening again.
