Valle Vista League Finals: Several records fell at Thursday’s Valle Vista League track and field finals at Baldwin Park High School, a day highlighted by the brilliant performance of San Dimas High senior Erika Kalmar, who not only walked away with four first-place medals but was part of four meet records as well.

Sierra League Finals: Many in attendance at the Sierra League track and field finals Thursday cheered when it was announced that Brea Buchanan of Ayala High School had broken two meet records. Buchanan merely giggled.
