Nice execution. How would you get out of the way of an ‘inside pitch”? Please tell me. In addition, How would you, if fair, get out of the box?? Are you going to crawl??

My first thought was the strike zone? When your knees are on the ground, what is the strike zone? Can someone answer that question?

The conception of a strike zone has always been under the arm pit and just above the knee. This should never change, unless you have an umpire who is calling a game based on the height of a player. In that case the strike zone will move with every batter rather than stay “consistent”. From a catcher view, a strike is just below his chin strap and at his knee. Think about it!! So in the video a ball at the batters’ eyes would, in my opinion, be a “strike” Coach Johnson/ COHS

That’s why I thought, I wasn’t sure if the strike zone would change from his knees (on the ground) to his arm-pits in this position. What you said makes sense, the strike zone should be based on what is considered your normal stance.

    check that…chin guard, not strap.
