Baseball: Just what you thought, three-way tie in Palomares with two weeks to go

BONITACELEGlendora, which looked like it might fall completely out of the playoff picture a couple weeks ago is tied for first in the Palomares after a 10-1 win over Claremont on Friday. South Hills, which could have remained in first with a sweep over Ayala, was hammered at home by the Bulldogs, 9-4. South Hills, which has a team 0.47 ERA, gave up the most runs it has all season by far. Bonita’s 7-4 win over Diamond Bar kept the Palomares a four-horse race with the Bearcats only a game back of the three league leaders.
