Weekly food truck events ending for this year

Food truck fans, you’ve got just two more opportunities this year for weekly food truck events here in the Inland Empire.

And they’re both at Fairplex in Pomona.

Curbside Bites, which has been operating the Food Truck Thursdays event in Pomona, will host its final event for the year next week as preparations for the Los Angeles County Fair begin.

A second weekly event (also run by Curbside Bites), Food Truck Tuesdays, which had been at Montclair Place and later moved to Boomers in Upland, was abruptly canceled on July 25.

The Fairplex event typically starts back up in April.

Of course, continuing is San Bernardino’s monthly event, the Third Thursdays Food Fest, which will take place on August 17 and will feature seven trucks.
