Fairplex’s weekly Food Truck Thursdays returns tonight (April 5) and runs through August.
For those of you who were waiting for McDonald’s to bring back chicken strips, the wait is over.
The fast food giant recently rolled out its Buttermilk Crispy Tenders, and to celebrate the launch, the chain is hosting a giveaway at select restaurants.

Food truck fans, you’ve got just two more opportunities this year for weekly food truck events here in the Inland Empire.
And they’re both at Fairplex in Pomona.
Liquid nitrogen ice cream shop Creamistry continues to expand here in the Inland Empire, as part of its national and international expansion plans.
A new location is set to open in Pomona Monday (June 12) and in Menifee sometime in the next couple of months.
Spring has returned, and with it, food trucks have returned to Fairplex in Pomona.
Food Truck Thursdays started up again last week.
The three-course meal consists of a pair of appetizers, a selection of nine entrées, and two desserts.
The Brick Market & Deli in Pomona — no stranger to hosting fundraisers — will have a multi-day fundraiser next week for Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare.
The fundraiser will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday (March 23) through Friday (March 25).
Simply present the flier, which can be found here, when you order and The Brick will donate 20% of your bill to Casa Colina.
The Brick is at 105 E. Arrow Highway.
The pub will be tapping several special brews for the event, including two collaborations with local breweries.
We totally did not see this coming.
We’d followed the progress of the Riverside Sonic Drive-In, but had no idea one was also opening in Pomona.
It opened at 10 a.m. yesterday (January 11).
The new Sonic is at 40 Rio Rancho Road, near the Walmart in the Pomona Ranch Plaza.
