Summit’s Stephen Carr says he’s still committed to USC

The coaching shuffle at USC isn’t enough to scare away Summit running back Stephen Carr.

Like Rancho Cucamonga’s Thomas Graham, Carr said tonight he’s still committed to the Pac-12 school despite the suspension and eventual dismissal of head coach Steve Sarkisian.

Carr hasn’t had any second thoughts. He spoke with one USC assistant today and got a text message from another.

“They’re going to get a good coach,” Carr said. “They’re going to go out and get the right coach to fit the program.”

Carr is just a junior so he has the opportunity to sit back and see what happens before he has to finalize a decision.

“I’m just going to relax and let everything unfold,” he said.

Carr has helped lead the SkyHawks to a 6-0 record. He has 61 carries for 821 yards and 10 touchdowns.
