Temple City needs Dale Ziola to take over, rescue program. Sorry Los Altos, we need him more …

Freddie reminding me that Temple City is the last SGV football program to win three straight CIF titles hit like a hammer this morning. Because my alma mater has fallen on HARD TIMES in recent years.

The Rams haven’t even scored this season. Two games in and NO POINTS!!! So, it’s time to bring in Dale Ziola. He can leave Los Altos for a little while, maybe coach both schools, and turn things around.

Sorry Conquerors, you’re back on your feet. It’s time for Temple City to get the same treatment. After all, TC is one of the Top 5 SGV football programs of all time!

Thank you. Now carry on with the rest of your day.

Aram, what year did you graduate from there? My wife is a Ram grad.

Heard one of Mooney’s old QBs is the JV HC, could be the guy to take them back to their winning ways. ….

It’s too bad about TCHS and RHS because either school could have had a quality, former CIF winning offensive coordinator and head coach who teaches right down the street, or for one of the schools, on campus, to be their OC. But both coaches thought they knew better and are paying for their mistakes now (0 points for both schools!!!). Maybe in the future, someone will swallow this guy up because whoever does will be able to put points on the board against anyone! That is a promise! And both coaches know who this person is if they think about it long enough. It’s just too bad.

Man i remember when Temple city was a scary team to play especially when they had Desmond Reed. i would love to see that program take over the Mid Valley.

TC has had 3 coaching changes in the last 5 or 6 years.
Students don’t want to play because they don’t know if the coach might get let go.
Also they have to wait for baseball or soccer (which are not in season) to clear out before they can even practice.
The coaching is not the problem, they’re doing their best with very little support.
If you want to blame someone on TCHS recent demise, blame the TCHS Administration and the School Board (where it first began)they are the ones that are destroying Temple City’s fine football tradition.

JMO, you out there? What is the RB status for CO tonight? Did Washington break anything last week?

Sorry to u, but after all…Los Altos is one of the top 2 programs in SGV history if not the top program…thank u n have a nice day

LA said, don’t get ahead of yourself, I can count at least three teams that would be way ahead of LA if not six depending on what you are calling the SGV. LA is doing good things just don’t get too ahead!

  • football follower…

What 3 to 6 programs are better ALL-TIME than than LA in the SGV? Amat and?????

  • LA

    11CIF Championships….nuff said!

I do remember TC having some pretty good teams in the ’70’s but with Championships in ’72, ’73, ’76 & ’77 for LA, they were a very program as well. Not to mention a couple more champions in the 80’s followed with 5 straight appearances from ’99, 2000, ’01, ’02 and ’03 [losing only in 2001].

As for Ziola, he is NOT for sale!

  • Conq Grad

BTW, if you love Ziola so much, why does he and his program get no love in your PrepXtra Live Rewind. You brushed off his win over rival Wilson barely giving him one line regarding their win and the fact that I believe they have scored 33, 48 and now 49 points in his first three games.

  • For those of you scoring at home, Temple City has now gone three games without scoring.

Tc was also in the playoffs 04,05 (rhl title), 06 (rhl title), 07, & 08 (semis appearance). after 08 is when tc went in a new direction. 1 playoff appearance in 2010. now on their way to a 2nd consecutive 1-9 season.
