Santa Fe Tournament of Champions Update

As many of you already know, the 10th annual Santa Fe Tournament of Champions and Young Guns Passing Tournament kicks off tomorrow morning at 9. This is one the largest spectacles and is a must-see.

Here’s some additional info.

There are four locals who will participate, including California, Pioneer, Santa Fe and Whittier.

I have a somewhat tentative list of teams who have committed to attend (there may be some last-minute additions and subtractions, though.)

Lineman and passing competitions start at 9 a.m.

Lineman competitions include the bench press, power clean, jump rope, sled drive, obstacle course, short shuttled (pro agility), 185 pounds, 30 seconds, 40 yards and Tug of war.

The championship game and tug of war are set for 3:45 p.m.
