In case you’ve been living under a rock for the last few months, the Inland Empire’s second Raising Cane’s location is finally set to open Thursday morning (January 18).

The chicken fingers restaurant — 1857 S. Tippecanoe Ave., San Bernardino — was initially supposed to open in early December of last year, but was pushed back due to electrical issues.

The festivities kick off at 6:30 a.m. Twenty lucky “Caniacs” will receive free Cane’s for a year in a drawing set for 7:30 a.m. (or 7:45 a.m. or 8:30 a.m., depending on who you ask). Winners must be 13 years of age or older and present to win.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is set for 8:15 a.m., and the restaurant will officially open at 9 a.m.

The first 100 dine-in customers will receive a free Raising Cane’s T-shirt and a voucher for a free box combo on their next visit.

The chain’s first Inland Empire location opened in October of last year in Riverside. Future locations are in the works for Menifee, Upland and Ontario.

Hours for the San Bernardino restaurant are 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 3 a.m Friday and Saturday.
