Veterans Day is here, and many restaurants (both local and national) are offering deals and free food for current and former servicemembers.
Most offers require that you show some sort of military ID. Be sure to check the details on their websites for more info before heading out.
Head over the jump for the list:

The people have spoken.
And the people of the Inland Empire have spoken very loudly.
Last month, Wetzel’s Pretzels asked its Facebook fans which stores should have the chain’s new Pizza Bitz — bite-size snacks made with pretzel dough, topped with cheese and pepperoni — before the rest of America.
The people of the Inland Empire responded in full force: Half of the six stores chosen are here!
The new McDonald’s at Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga will celebrate its grand opening from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. today (August 27).

Morning people…today (August 4) is your day!
Make sure you leave a little early so you can stop at Juice It Up! on your way to wherever you’re heading.
That’s because the chain is celebrating its 20th anniversary by giving away small smoothies between 9 and 11 a.m. at participating locations.
Guests can choose either the limited-time California Cooler — made with fresh cucumber, pineapple juice, lemonade, lime sherbet and pineapple — or a Strawberry Wave — a blend of Strawberry juice, non-fat yogurt, banana, and strawberries.
Inland Empire Juice It Up! locations include San Bernardino, Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, Ontario, Chino, Redlands, Hesperia, Victorville, Apple Valley, Eastvale, Riverside, Moreno Valley, Rancho Mirage, La Quinta, Corona, Hemet, Lake Elsinore, Murrieta and Temecula.
It’s here! Today (July 11 aka 7/11) is 7-Eleven Day, when the ubiquitous convenience store celebrates its anniversary.
And the way it celebrates is by giving stuff away.
Stop in to any 7-Eleven between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. today and get a free small Slurpee, while supplies last.
But the freebies don’t end there.
Blaze Pizza has arrived in Rancho Cucamonga’s Victoria Gardens and — as is tradition with the “fast fire’d” chain — it’s celebrating with a giveaway.
The pizzeria opens Thursday (June 11) and is giving away a free pizza on Friday (June 12) to followers of its social media feeds on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. And, no, you won’t get three free pizzas for following on all three.
The giveaway takes place from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the new location, 7833 Monet Ave.
Blaze also has locations in Riverside and Cabazon, and is opening soon in Eastvale.
