Three San Bernardino Valley College basketball players have decided the next step in their collegiate careers.

Leading the way is Don Lugo High School graduate Tymarieh Dixon, a 6-foot-4 guard who is headed to Cal Poly Pomona. He averaged 10.8 points and 5.8 rebounds for the Wolverines who won the Foothill Conference and advanced to the state championship game before losing to Santa Rosa.

Dixon scored in double digits 21 times, the season high being a 22-point effort against Barstow.

The other two saw more limited playing time. Forward Marcus Fuggins is headed to Morehead State while forward Darren Smith will attend Prairie View A&M.
