Mtley Cre headed to Las Vegas for February

Los Angeles’ Mtley Cre, who have held a couple of Mtley Cre Festivals at the San Manuel Amphitheater, will take part in a hard rock residency during February at The Joint At Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, 4455 Paradise Rd, in Las Vegas. 
Drummer Tommy Lee said in a statement: “I don’t know about you, but when I think of Mtley Cre I think of filthy sex, drugs, a REALLY big show and way too much fun… sounds like Las Vegas doesn’t it? A match made in heaven!”
All shows start at 9 p.m. 
Dates for the group are: 
-Today, Wednesday; and Feb. 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19.

Built to Spill, Andrew WK, Five Finger Death Punch, more coming to Pomona

Coming to the Glass House, 200 W. Second St., are indie rock’s Built to Spill on Feb. 22; metal’s Andrew W.K. on March 10; metalcore’s The Devil Wears Prada on March 16; noise rock/indie pop’s Cults on March 23; and pop rock/indie pop’s fun. on March 24.

Slipknot and Slayer to perform at the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival

The festival, which takes place June 30, will be held at the San Manuel Amphitheater, 2575 Glen Helen Parkway, Devore.

Besides the S bands, a special guest will be announced on March 5 and there will be thrash metal’s Anthrax on the Jagermeister stage besides a rotation of bands that will vary from market to market.

Paid Dues announces more acts including Dipset and Living Legends

The Murs 3:16 and Guerilla Union-promoted Paid Dues Festival takes place at the National Orange Show Events Center on April 7.

The Paid Dues has announced more acts besides headliners Wu Tang Clan of Staten Island and Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, of Los Angeles.

Besides the previously mentioned Dipset, California’s Living Legends featuring Murs, The Grouch, Sunspot Jonz, Luckyiam, Eligh, Aesop, Scarup and Bicasso, are also on the lineup.

Other hip-hop acts include Oakland’s Hieroglyphics, Compton’s Kendrick Lamar and DJ Quik, Los Angeles-based Psycho Realm and Dilated Peoples and more to be announced.
